On February 22, 2019, Dr. Banks and Dr. Desrosiers attended the “Face Off with CF” gala at the Chateau Lacombe. They were “Penalty Shot Sponsors” and enjoyed an evening of entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a fabulous dinner hosted by the Edmonton Cystic Fibrosis Chapter with their honorary chairperson Ryan Nugent Hopkins.

After the event, Dr. Banks and Dr. Desrosiers were delighted to receive a visit from Rory, a 10 year old boy with Cystic Fibrosis. Rory knows the importance of these types of fundraisers, as all of the proceeds fund research and medical development for CF.

Rory presented Dr. Banks and Dr. Desrosiers with a special token of thanks for their support.
